Summer 3v3 Soccer

Elite Touch Soccer & Fitness has partnered with iSoccer (iSoccer.org) to offer an exciting summer of soccer with a bit of a twist.  The 3v3 format is fast paced and emphasizes creativity, technical skills and quick decision making. 3v3 is fun to play and fun to watch! Players will get a mix of skills training (based on the iSoccer evaluations which are the cornerstone of US Youth Soccer’s national standards project), soccer related fitness, injury prevention, nutrition information and live game play.  The sessions will begin in mid-June and run four weeks, with no sessions during the July 4th holiday week and ending prior to the annual North Shore United preseason camp.

Program:

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30-8 pm.

June 19th – June 29th and July 10th – July 19th.

Location:  Alliance Fields, just south of Alliance Bible Church, 13939 N. Cedarburg Rd, Mequon, WI

Who: Recreational U10-U14 players (age group played in 2011-12 season).

Format:

40 minute training session followed by 4  short games.  New teams will be created every session and will play 4 games together in a round robin format.  Points will be tracked for awards at the end of the 4 weeks.

Participants will receive a camp t-shirt and families will have access to discounted equipment from Elite Touch Soccer.

Cost:  Cost is $99/player

Space will be limited to ensure maximum amount of individual attention.  We will cap attendance at 30 players.

ACL Injury Prevention Warm Up

We’re on a bit of a theme for a couple weeks here at Elite Touch. I know of way too many young female athletes right now missing part of their spring season due to injury (I guess the up side is none of them play for me, but that’s small consolation!).

The Santa Monica program is the best known study and program, but there are plenty of videos demonstrating stuff to be had … here is a particularly good one..
